Explore a different period of RLC’s history each day! Activities include creating an original comic book, making dye using natural pigments, and churning butter.
Be inspired by the nature around you! Campers will learn and create using RLC’s historic gardens as inspiration. Some plants in our gardens are over 175 years old! Activities include making art from nature, identifying plants and insects, and building with natural materials like adobe.
Learn what life was like for vaqueros on a cattle ranch in the 1800s! Campers will be immersed in the culture of 19th century Alta California. Activities include making tortillas, creating cascarones, swinging a reata, and learning folkórico dance steps.

Dear RLC Camp Families,
We know many of you are eager for news about our 2022 camp season. The safety of our staff and campers remains our number one priority. Based on current case numbers in Southern California we are optimistically moving ahead with in-person camps for 2021.
Camper capacity for each session will to allow for social distancing and any other protocols that may be in place during the summer months. Our plans will continue to evolve along with best practices and Public Health recommendations. Campers will receive more details about what protocols will be in place closer to the start of camp.
