Visit Rancho Los Cerritos
Pardon our dust! Rancho Los Cerritos is re-paving the driveway leading up to the Rancho during the week of September 24-28, and we will not have any parking available on the upper lots Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.
The pedestrian walkway, our main parking lot, and the museum itself will all remain open.
Thank you for your patience as we work to make your Rancho a safer and more pleasant experience!
Open: Wednesday – Sunday: 1-5 p.m.
Closed: Mondays and Tuesdays, and for the following holidays: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
Admission & Parking
Admission, public tours, and parking are free, although donations are appreciated. General parking is available at the lot on Virginia Road directly across from the museum gate; for accessible parking, proceed through the gate to the upper lot.
Tours are available whenever the museum is open and last approximately one hour. We suggest arriving by 4 p.m. in order to receive a guided tour before the museum’s 5 p.m. closing.
Garden tours are Saturdays and Sundays, weather permitting, and by special request.
Reservations are required for groups of 10 or more; call (562) 206-2040.
The Rancho offers a scenic picnic area with benches near the California Native Garden. There are no food or drinks available for purchase on site. The area surrounding the Rancho offers dozens of restaurants and cafes.
