Inclement Weather Policy

In the event that Rancho Los Cerritos experiences inclement weather, RLC will not open that day. If inclement weather occurs during the hours that RLC is open to the public, the site will be closed early. The decision to close the site will be based on the following criteria:

• Temperatures above 95 degrees or below 55 degrees Fahrenheit
• Rain or a forecasted chance of rain above 80%
• An air quality rating above 150, according to the Air Quality Index
• Lightning within five miles of the site
• Sustained winds above 20 MPH
