The Rancho Los Cerritos museum shop is full of one-of-a-kind products. These products are hand made by local artisans and volunteers. These hand-made products belong to either the Artisan Collection or the Legacy Collection.
Artisan Collection items are made by the garden crafts committee under the guidance of horticulturist Marie Barnidge McIntyre. Our artisan collection holds usable and essential items that provide happiness and comfort. These include handcrafted items like sachets, lavender wands, candles, picture frames, tote bags, jams, seed packets, soaps, jewelry, cards, and beaded bookmarks. Fresh goods like herbs, persimmons, orange peels, and honey are harvested on-site to be sold under our Artisan collection. These all make for a perfect snack!
Once the holidays come around, the garden crafts committee is hard at work making garlands, ornaments, kissing balls, and pomanders. These pieces make perfect decor for your home during the holidays!
Our Legacy Collection contains items that are made by local woodworkers like Craig Elliot and Dale Hill. These are items that provide decor and a piece of history for your home. Our local woodworkers use preserved historic wood and turn it into bowls, candle holders, wine glasses, bottle openers, compact mirrors, clocks, pens, wine bottle stoppers corkscrews, letter openers, pepper mills, model carettas, and much more.
