On display from October through Early December 2019 is the latest special exhibit in the library case in commemoration of the 175th anniversary of the adobe's construction (built in 1844) and specifically the 1930s Bixby remodel. With the exhibit is Brice Burtness, RLC’s Fall 2019 Creative Long Beach intern (funded by the Arts Council for Long Beach), who researched and installed this exhibit.

This October, Rancho Los Cerritos installed the third in a series of special exhibits in the library display case that commemorates the demisemiseptcentennial.
