Rancho Los Cerritos Announces New Membership Program

This week, Rancho Los Cerritos unveiled its new membership program. Membership allows visitors to engage more deeply with the Rancho’s unique and valuable mission of bringing history to life, while offering thank-you gifts and special opportunities in return. The seven levels of membership can be paid as annual payments or monthly recurring donations and start at just $5 per month.

Every member receives invitations to members-only events, including exhibit previews and the annual Members-Only Picnic; a 10% discount in the Museum Shop; a subscription to RLC’s quarterly newsletter, The Gate; and special offers throughout the year.

But the most important benefit, according to Rancho Los Cerritos’ Executive Director Alison Bruesehoff, is “the knowledge that members are helping bring education to thousands of children and restoring the Rancho for generations to come.”

Membership also supports Opening Doors, a $6 million campaign kicked off in the summer of 2018 to fund restoration of the adobe, sustain current educational programs, and expand curricula for students of all ages.

A National, State, and Local Historic Landmark, Rancho Los Cerritos is an historic museum situated on 4.7 acres of manicured, historic gardens. In 2017, Westways named RLC one of Southern California’s must-see “bucket list” attractions. Rancho Los Cerritos serves more than 6,000 students through its award-winning school tours; in all, more than 26,000 visitors pass through its green gates for tours each year.

Members can sign-up in person at the Visitor Center or join online at rancholoscerritos.org/membership. The museum will continue to offer free admission, parking, and tours.
