
Join us for a Cowboy Festival at the Rancho honoring Juneteenth and celebrating our exhibit “Untold Legacies: Rethinking the American Cowboy”.
This event will feature games, activities, performances, and demonstrations by local cowboy culture enthusiasts, experts, and artists, including event partner Urban Saddles, a fellow non-profit organization focused on building hope and opportunity for youth and community through the equine experience and the cowboy code of the west.
Fun for the whole family—don’t forget to wear your favorite cowboy gear and show your western style to add to the celebration!
Activities include: Roping games, pan for gold, leather “Lariat” bracelets, and decorate your own cowboy vest!

Demonstrations for the Kids: Adam’s Forge Blacksmithing Demonstrations, Bilingual Storytime, Loteria (Lottery) Card Game
Musical Performances: Urban Saddles Founder, Ghuan Featherstone, will perform a music set on stage during the event + Long Beach singer/songwriter, Alyssandra Nighswonger.
