Stardusk Dinner Dance
October 22, 2017 @ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
$150Please note: registration has closed for this event.
On Sunday, October 22, Rancho Los Cerritos, an historic landmark and museum in Long Beach, will host the Stardusk Dinner Dance in its iconic backyard. The evening raises money for RLC’s educational programming, which includes free public tours, school field trips, and outreach throughout the community.
While the adobe house was first built in 1844, it was significantly renovated in the 1930s, and the rancho will pay tribute to that era with the Stardusk Dinner Dance. Long Beach caterer Primal Alchemy will serve 1930s-inspired dishes with a modern flair, and Los Angeles-based Ginger and the Hoosier Daddies will entertain the crowd with its big band jazz sounds.
“The Stardusk Dinner Dance promises to be an enchanting evening benefiting a great cause,” Alison Bruesehoff, Executive Director of Rancho Los Cerritos, said. “We bring more than 6,000 schoolchildren through our doors each year, and another 26,000 members of the general public visit the museum. We depend largely on individual donors and events like the Stardusk Dinner Dance in order to make that happen.”
